Albright began his post-college career at Haywood County's newspaper of record, in charge of the sports section. He helped bring back the paper's sports section after it diminished because of the pandemic.

UNCUT BOONE - CO-FOUNDER & MEDIA FACILITATOR
UNCUT was founded at UNC Chapel Hill in the fall of 2019 as a student-athlete storytelling platform for athletes to share their stories in their own words. In 2020, Albright co-founded the first expansion of UNCUT at App State, helping facilitate stories and relationships. Now, UNCUT is on campuses including UCLA, Virginia Tech, Duke and Maryland.
